Site Engineering - Maintenance Planner Do you have previous experience as a Maintenance Planner? Are you looking for a new opportunity with a company where you can make a difference? BPL has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the Engineering team within this leading Pharmaceutical Company, which is currently growing due to significant investment. This opportunity will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop themselves and the shape of the Engineering function at BPL. Reporting into the Head of Site Engineering the main purpose of this position is: The maintenance planner supports the maintenance efforts through job planning, parts procurement and resource allocation. The position is responsible for providing a safe operating environment by planning installation, maintenance and repair of machines, tools, equipment and utility systems. The Maintenance Planner works with Maintenance Management to schedule maintenance programs and processes for the Site Engineering team to minimise impact on production. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include: Responsible for all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works. Support the engineering team in developing the preventative maintenance system within your key specialist area, focussing on improving equipment uptime.Liaising with department managers to plan engineering activities and shutdownsCreate and Implement Work Order Management processes which consist of highly-developed job planning packs and staged parts.Allocate tasks and resources and develop personnel using the company CMMS.Arrange access with customers when required and reschedule work orders to suit.Monitor PPM workloads and ensure they are completed on a priority basis.Maintain evolving preventative maintenance documentation based on crew feedback, OEM documentation and historical trends.Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress. Working with the Engineering Stores to create BOM lists for critical equipment spares in addition to tracking and monitoring machinery performance The successful candidate will: Expert knowledge of one or more Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to identify and define problems through data collection and draw logical conclusionsStrong knowledge of Work Order Management Processes and the concepts of Planning and Scheduling.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, as well as industrial maintenance and electrical concepts.Minimum Level 3 qualification in a manufacturing related mechanical/electrical discipline, e.g. advance apprenticeship, NVQ 3, Mechanical/Electrical NC/ND C&G Mechanical/Electrical and Electronic technical certificate.
