Commercial Analyst - Senior position to guide sales strategy through data analysis Opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join a well-known and ambitious international sales organisation (c£130m Turnover) headquartered in central London. Reporting directly into the COO, the Commercial Analyst will be key to providing analysis and insights that will directly influence strategic business decisions. Purpose of the role: - Working closely with the BI team, who recently transformed the businesses capture of data (Tableau) you will model and analyse data to provide insightful information (MI) in relation to sales, finance, customer information, business performance, key trends and other commercial information. - Work closely with senior management across the business, helping them to understand your findings, formulate strategies and make data-led business decisions. - Champion the use of BI / MI across the business. - Contribute to Financial Planning and sales forecasting Required skills / experience: - Experience in sales / financial data analytics - Advanced MS Excel skillset - pivot tables, dashboards etc - Experience working with senior management in an advisory capacity - Experience of FPMA (Financial Planning Management) This is a highly strategic role with a great deal of opportunity for career progression - career path / expectation into Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This position will suit an experienced sales/finance/performance analyst looking to grow their scope and become more commercial and business oriented, or an Analyst with experience of influencing at the decision-making level.
