The Role; - Covering Newcastle, Sunderland, York, Carlisle, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth - Selling Commercial Heat Recovery, Air Handling units, Twin fans, smoke fans, axial fans, roof fans, supply and extract fans, controls and ancillaries. - Selling to Mechanical & Electrical Consultants (M&E Consultants). Working in tandem with the M&E Contractor representative, as well as the Client End user reps, you'll be sharing project information across the team, so you must be a good team player. - Looking after and developing relationships with approximately 30 key M&E Consultant practices. Pitching to all influencers in the business, such as estimators, designers, engineers, up to MD level. - Ideally meeting 4 companies per day and at least 2 contacts within each business. You'll liaise closely with your M&E Contractor led counterpart and the role will include client entertainment. - You have access to an excellent CRM system, along with support from an internal sales team. - The Successful Candidate; - For this M&E Consultant led role, covering NE, YO, CA postcodes, you must be a confident, structured, competitive, engaging sales professional. - Previous experience of selling HVAC products is advantageous, but not essential, as excellent training is offered. - Construction sales experience is preferable, along with an understanding of how to gain, protect, or break a specification. Our client will consider an M&E Contractor or M&E Consultant looking to move into sales. - You must be sociable, a friend maker, inquisitive, with excellent questioning skills and be able to deal at all levels. - Experience with any product, sold into the M&E channels would be great. That could be lighting, cable management, lifts, security systems, air conditioning, cooling towers, chillers etc. The Salary; - £35K-£46K basic - Monthly, quarterly and annual commission payments- Min £20K on top.
