Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and North London. Currently we're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our award winning team at Mulberry Court, a residential care home Chalfont St Peter for people living with dementia.We want you to help us by making sure everyone who uses our services receives high quality care and support. Indeed, you'll be seen as something of a role model when it comes to exceptional care practice. Liaising with health professionals, organising key sessions for team members and ensuring the health & safety of the building - all are aspects of this highly responsible role. Day-to-day, you'll help the manager ensure effective care and support systems are in place and that we operate in a fully compliant way. We'll also rely on you to assist with the recruitment, deployment and performance management of staff. Above all, you'll see that every member of the team is focused on providing the very best customer care.You must have previous experience working within a residential home and have a QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent. You will be required to provide leadership and management throughout day-to-day operations, whilst ensuring high quality care and support is delivered at all times. Your management style will inspire staff to deliver excellence in all aspects of their work and to develop both personally and professionally. You should have a clear understanding of care and knowledge of all CQC standards and whilst being compassionate, caring and hardworking, you have a good standard of literacy and numeracy too.
