Vital Energi are at the forefront of the UK's low carbon energy generating systems of the future. We essentially work in the construction industry, in a rapidly expanding market for Heat and Power Solutions from renewable energy. As a leading turnkey engineering contractor, we design, install, operate and maintain environmentally friendly energy generating systems and networks.
We are currently looking for a SHEQ Administrator to join our SHEQ team to provide a fixed-term maternity cover.
The individual will work as part of the SHEQ team, providing administrative support across a range of SHEQ day to day duties. The role will also include taking responsibility for administrative support in relation to maintaining data quality, facilitate IMS system updates, the circulation of and acting upon client feedback from our Clients.
Day to day, the successful candidate will:
•Provide support to the SHEQ team in order to achieve excellent safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) standards across the business
•Assist in the managing of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in establishing, implementing and maintaining the IMS in accordance with both business requirements and the requirements of the relevant standards
•Provide support in relation to document control and assist in the identification and development of improvements and improvement requests for the business within IMS
•Assist in the preparation of SHEQ audits/assessments/management plans
•Assist with the collection of statistical information and production of SHEQ monthly reports for the management board and operational teams
•Provide support with the client feedback processes including client surveys, client communications and client complaints
•Assist in the management of external audits
•Communicate and liaise with customers, clients, supply chain contacts and operational team members to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards
•Assist in the development of SHEQ communications, products and training content as required
•Assist internal quality audits in support of our ISO standards compliance
NVQ in Business Administration/GCSE/O Level in Maths or English would be desirable
Knowledge and Experience:
•Proven experience of general and document control administration.
•Previous experience in a SH&E capacity within the Construction Industry would be advantageous.
•Experience of managing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
•Must be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
This role will be based at our head office in Blackburn, however you may be required, on occasion, to visit other offices and working sites within the UK
