Job Description

Our client is a leading supplier of retail services. This is a Field based role where your areas will include Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, Halifax and Leeds. This position will report directly to the National Field Manager and will play a vital part in the delivery of a quality service to customers. To achieve this, you will be required to manage people, ensure productivity targets are met and maintained, and ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and constantly improved. The role will include weekends when required so flexibility is the key along with a full and valid driving licence. Duties within the role will include: Ensure that all assigned sites and vehicles are running in a safe and efficient manner and are compliant with Company policies, including quality and environmental objectives. Carry out a site or vehicle audit at each allocated site randomly. Completed audits should will be carried out on Service Connect Management system. Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork among your area of operation. Liaise with customers, site managers and staff to help develop and maintain excellent working customer relationships. Attend regular face-to-face meetings with the customer, ensuring that all customer issues are resolved promptly Monitor all employees within your area, ensuring all employees are trained, competent and working to agreed SSOW (Safe Systems of Work), Risk Assessments, HR and H&S policies Compliance with vehicle, uniform, appearance and all other standards set by the Company. You should be confident and have the ability to communicate with staff, customers and internal colleagues via telephone, face to face and by email Have the ability to be proactive in suggesting opportunities for improvement Fantastic organisation skills e.g. to plan staff rotas, audits and regular reporting requirements A full and valid driving licence is essential and the flexibility to travel to sites, previous experience of supervising and motivating a team. Salary is £27,000 and a van is provided for work use only
